Australia is known for a lot of things, now it can add in that the first worm for the iPhone originated here. The worm is called Ikee and it changes the background wallpaper on infected iPhones to Rick Astley of Rick Roll fame with the text caption “ikee is never going to give you up.” So how does it spread? If you have a jailbroken iPhone AND ssh installed with the default password, you are vulnerable. But it looks like the author is already being pegged down to Australia with his Myspace and Twitter links found after the source code was read and might be in the local news for this and/or being arrested.
Basically in the newly released Band Hero, No Doubt is one of the bands you can sing and play as. The band is suing Activision for things they did not specifically agree in game. They thought that they would be only singing their own songs with their own avatars. It seems that you can use Gwen Stefani to sing like a man and sing about prostitutes, amongst other things. No comment has been made by Activision, but this sounds similar to the previous Kurt Cobain issue brought up, with him being able to rap…
Should you be able to use anyone’s avatar in game to sing another bands song?
What is the difference between a PS3 with the system update firmware version 3 and a brick? Not much to the people suing Sony. Their machines have become useless ever since downloading the upgrade and looks like an expensive brick now. The two plaintiffs have got machines that will not turn on, able to access Blu-Ray drives or the controllers either. Sony support says that the system failures are coincidental and are offering to fix it…. for $150.So they are now trying to aim for a class action suit to force Sony to fix it. No comment has been made by Sony at this time.
Do you know anyone who has had their PS3 fail following these firmware updates?
The latest Batman themed game called Arkham Asylum has shifted quite a few units and garnered praise by almost everyone in the industry and especially the gamers. Even though Batman has sent most of the criminals in Gotham there, they are all still causing trouble. One of the guys at Rocksteady (who are the developers for the game) has talked to a magazine and was asked a question about a sequel for the game: “I’m not really allowed to comment on that, but there are definitely lots of exciting stories to tell in Batman’s world, and I can say that we’re really privileged to work on it, and excited about future possibilities.” Maybe we will see a sequel back in Arkham, but we need to wait and see if a sequel is confirmed first.
Would you like to see a sequel to this game or have a open world type game in Gotham city?
If you have been waiting since 2007 when Tekken 6 came out in the arcades in Japan, you do not need to wait any longer. The game is out and according to Namco Bandai, it has shipped a massive 2.5 million copies to Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers. With lots of hype, new characters and even weapons in the game, it sure looks like it is going to continue this legacy.
Have you played this game yet and if so who is your favourite character and what did you think?

If you click here, you can see the hilarious attempts they try to make to get to the moon. The game will be released within the next week on the Wii and DS.
Have you played one of the previous games in the series and if so did you enjoy it? Will this game be any good?
If no dedicated server was enough to cause outrage, we have another to add to the chapter for the new game in the CoD series. Basically, you play a terrorist. You gun down innocent civilians in one scene. The reason for this? It is done so you can sense the urgency to stop the Russian villains who are cold blooded and will do anything to achieve their aims. The scene can be skipped, but the checkpoints for the area cannot be. The game is trying to mirror real life happenings and looks like they want you to feel both sides of the action. This has been confirmed by a leak of the scene and was rapidly taken down due to copyright infringement. The game itself is released on November 10 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
Do you think all the negative press will hurt sales and the franchise?
In what seems to have been a hush hush agreement to surprise people, the news might have been leaked. The English band The Who could be getting their tracks and their own game in the Rock Band series according to lead sing Roger Daltry. "They're going to be doing a Who one next year," said Daltrey to Masslive, in giving his thoughts on this year's The Beatles: Rock Band. "There is one planned," he added. "[The idea] is fabulous." They have had their songs released as DLC for previous Rock Band titles, so it does give credit that they may get their own game and their best songs on it. With classic hits and songs all the way back from 1964, this one will be good for several generations of family and friends, just like The Beatles version is. Just remember, this has not been confirmed as of yet.
