Do you like zombies? Do you like clowns? Ever wanted to kill an infected clown because they scare you more than a normal clown? You may know where I am going with this, but the third campaign for Left 4 Dead 2 is called Dark Carnival, starring the previously mentioned “evil clowns.” It will be playable at the Penny Arcade Expo in the Untied States, so I apologise for getting your hopes up on playing it early. The game itself is out in November.

In one of the more memorable ultra violent games in the last few years, the sequel to the original game only saw a console release in 2007 from Rockstar, has been rated by the ESRB as it is shown here. It has received an AO rating for blood and gore, intense violence, strong language, strong sexual content and use of drugs. This is only a rumour, but something that can confirm that PC gamers may see this game on PC, but probably not a MA 15+ rating down under if it is indeed released.
Will this game be available on PC or just a mistake?
One of the biggest indoor theme parks has just opened in Dubai in the U.A.E. The park is run by Sega and has lots of rides and over 150 different games over 5 different zones which include: Speed, Adventure, Sports, Cyberpop and Redemption. The rides themselves have names like Spin Gear, Sonic Hopper and Initial D4 limited etc.
For those of you who loved the old Earthworm Jim titles, you are up for a treat. Your favourite armed and dangerous earthworm will hit our gaming consoles as a remake by Gameloft and it will be based on the old Sega Genesis title. It will be available for the Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network and WiiWare sometime before the end of the year.
According to Alan Wake’s developer Remedy, the game is finished and just getting polished off before release. Remedy are well known for making the games Max Payne 1 and 2 (3 is being developed by someone else), so this survival horror game should be good. It should be due out in autumn next year on Xbox 360, but maybe closer now or maybe they will work on the PC version of the game that got unceremoniously canned earlier this year.
In this assassin for hire game and playing as Agent 47, four games have been developed by Rocksteady Studios. This signals a change of direction and possibly gaming style as well with possible new graphics and all. IO Interactive will be taking over development duties and expect the game to be out in 2010.
