<title>Call of Duty franchise gets new developer</title>
				<link>http://www.gamespace.net.au/?sb_page=news&amp;news_id=1739</link>
<description>With the $550 million launch, sales records broken left, right, centre and even forwards, it seems the CoD franchise needs help from new developers. Infinity Ward is concentrating on the Modern Warfare area, while Treyarch is doing the historical battles based on WWII which started off the entire series. The third studio has not been named at this time, but rumours are flying around on what they could be working on. Sounds like another branch under the CoD flag name, but maybe a more modern war sounds like a safe bet or maybe working on new or future consoles/technologies.

&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Do you think that the series is diversifying too much or do you think it will churn out more and better games?

				<title>EA closes down developer Pandemic</title>
				<link>http://www.gamespace.net.au/?sb_page=news&amp;news_id=1738</link>
<description>Pandemic was a developer which was behind the Mercenaries series, Star Wars: Battlefront and also The Saboteur. It seems the doors are physically closing with most of the 200 people being made redundant or hopefully moving onto other projects within EA. The brand name shall like on however and so will those game IP&amp;rsquo;s.

&amp;nbsp;Do you think that this is an unnecessary move? Are other developers going to feel similar issues?

<title>Dead Space sequel with multiplayer action?</title>
				<link>http://www.gamespace.net.au/?sb_page=news&amp;news_id=1736</link>
<description>Two games down in the Dead Space franchise with the prequel doing poorly on Wii, there is hope at the end of the tunnel for the series. Someone with a keen eye on the job posting sites has found this: &amp;quot;Senior Online Level Designer for the Dead Space franchise on Xbox360 and PS3.&amp;quot; The game has not even been formally announced yet, but the wheels are turning and are on the road to completing this game. Other job ads and hints have been dropped about the sequel, but nothing seems to be rock solid yet.

&amp;nbsp; Will this be a good game to play when it is out? What would you like to see in it? Will multiplayer be good?

				<title>Fallout MMO screenshots leaked</title>
				<link>http://www.gamespace.net.au/?sb_page=news&amp;news_id=1735</link>
<description>It seems that the Fallout MMO is confirmed, is being actively worked on and screenshots have been leaked by an unlikely source. You can see the images here. Basically there is a court case between Interplay, the old owner of the IP rights to Fallout and Bethesda Softworks who now owns it. Interplay is actually working Project V13 which is the Fallout MMO and they are the source of the leak. In the court case they were accused of being slow in developing the MMO, so they submitted the images as evidence as proof that the game is in full development

&amp;nbsp; What do you think of the screenshots and will the game be any good?

				<title>Activision files for more Heroes</title>
				<link>http://www.gamespace.net.au/?sb_page=news&amp;news_id=1733</link>
<description>Activision is churning out a lot of these hero based games with Guitar Hero, DJ Hero and now Band Hero. All are on sale now, but it seems this is not enough. Some keen observers have found that they now have registered Drum Hero as a trademark. The trademark filing specifically states that it will cover &amp;ldquo;Toys, handheld games with liquid crystal displays, musical toys; action figures and accessories therefore; arcade games; coin-operated videogames; electric action toys; handheld unit for playing electronic videogames; electronic toy drums.&amp;quot; If they use the name or not in a game is up in the air, but the same thing happened with DJ Hero and that was released. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

&amp;nbsp; If a Drum Hero game was released, would you buy it and would it be any good?

<title>Left 4 Dead Team based versus matchmaking added</title>
				<link>http://www.gamespace.net.au/?sb_page=news&amp;news_id=1732</link>
<description>In a move for competitive L4D action, a team of 4 say from one clan, can now take one someone organised similar for versus fun. It was announced in April and just finally made it now. It seems all hands are on deck for L4D and its sequel which is due out on the 17th and the demo is out now.

&amp;nbsp; Is this a good feature? Would you be interested in a L4D league if it was possible to use this new feature for it?

<title>The iPhone will never gonna give you up</title>
				<link>http://www.gamespace.net.au/?sb_page=news&amp;news_id=1730</link>
<description>Australia is known for a lot of things, now it can add in that the first worm for the iPhone originated here. The worm is called Ikee and it changes the background wallpaper on infected iPhones to Rick Astley of Rick Roll fame with the text caption &amp;ldquo;ikee is never going to give you up.&amp;rdquo; So how does it spread? If you have a jailbroken iPhone AND ssh installed with the default password, you are vulnerable. But it looks like the author is already being pegged down to Australia with his Myspace and Twitter links found after the source code was read and might be in the local news for this and/or being arrested.

&amp;nbsp;Do you know anyone who has been a victim to this?

<title>Gwen Stefani sings other peoples songs</title>
				<link>http://www.gamespace.net.au/?sb_page=news&amp;news_id=1729</link>
				<description>Basically in the newly released Band Hero, No Doubt is one of the bands you can sing and play as. The band is suing Activision for things they did not specifically agree in game. They thought that they would be only singing their own songs with their own avatars. It seems that you can use Gwen Stefani to sing like a man and sing about prostitutes, amongst other things. No comment has been made by Activision, but this sounds similar to the previous Kurt Cobain issue brought up, with him being able to rap&amp;hellip;

&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Should you be able to use anyone&amp;rsquo;s avatar in game to sing another bands song?

				<title>Sony sued over PS3 firmware update problems</title>
				<link>http://www.gamespace.net.au/?sb_page=news&amp;news_id=1728</link>
<description>What is the difference between a PS3 with the system update firmware version 3 and a brick? Not much to the people suing Sony. Their machines have become useless ever since downloading the upgrade and looks like an expensive brick now. The two plaintiffs have got machines that will not turn on, able to access Blu-Ray drives or the controllers either. Sony support says that the system failures are coincidental and are offering to fix it&amp;hellip;. for $150.So they are now trying to aim for a class action suit to force Sony to fix it. No comment has been made by Sony at this time.

&amp;nbsp;Do you know anyone who has had their PS3 fail following these firmware updates?

				<title>Rocksteady hints at Batman sequel</title>
				<link>http://www.gamespace.net.au/?sb_page=news&amp;news_id=1727</link>
<description>The latest Batman themed game called Arkham Asylum has shifted quite a few units and garnered praise by almost everyone in the industry and especially the gamers. Even though Batman has sent most of the criminals in Gotham there, they are all still causing trouble. One of the guys at Rocksteady (who are the developers for the game) has talked to a magazine and was asked a question about a sequel for the game: &amp;ldquo;I&amp;rsquo;m not really allowed to comment on that, but there are definitely lots of exciting stories to tell in Batman&amp;rsquo;s world, and I can say that we&amp;rsquo;re really privileged to work on it, and excited about future possibilities.&amp;rdquo; Maybe we will see a sequel back in Arkham, but we need to wait and see if a sequel is confirmed first.

&amp;nbsp;Would you like to see a sequel to this game or have a open world type game in Gotham city?
